Time is relative

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
– 2 Peter 3:8-9

I can’t tell you how many times I have heard the argument that God could not have possibly created everything in 6 days.
Hello!  It is God!
We have a specific concept of time, God does not.
It is a good thing, too, because we as humans tend to put a time frame on everything, including our spiritual path.
God cares for people so much that He is willing to wait for them to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
We may become impatient with the process, but God is not like us (which is another good thing!).
This should give us great hope because we are not as far along in our faith as we would like to believe, but God is patient with us.
The nature of God’s patience should humble all of us, for we are all in great need of God’s longsuffering in our journey of faith.

Have a blessed day!
