changed

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

- 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (NKJV)

Did any of you read the “Left Behind” series by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins?

It was a series of 16 novels published between 1995 and 2007, a fictional account of the rapture, the rise of the antichrist and basically the end of days.

An interpretation of the Biblical apocalypse.

In the last few decades I have heard many people claim we are in the end times, I have seen people point their fingers at political leaders claiming that they are the antichrist.

Newsflash – we are not going to know.

Prophets from the Old Testament knew things were going to happen, but they didn’t know when.

And we are not going to know when either.

Is Jesus coming back? Of course He is.

Are we living in the end times? Maybe.

If we think that we are going to see the end of the world as we know it, perhaps we need to examine the way we are living now, so that when that moment comes, we are ready and not “left behind”.
