what are you seeking?

Seek good, not evil, that you may live. Then the Lord God Almighty will be with you, just as you say he is. Hate evil, love good; maintain justice in the courts.

Well, this is interesting.
I had a conversation with someone the other day and they told me that bad things always find them.
But what if – what if these things aren’t finding us by chance, but instead we are seeking them?
“NO way!” we say . . . but bear with me a moment  - I am not saying we deliberately seek out evil, but what if we are doing it subconsciously?
What if what we think and say are making us seek out the bad?
I am terrible about road rage . . and I can tell you the things that run through my mind (and come out of my mouth) when I am driving are certainly not in character with what I profess to be, a believer that God is always with me.
Just so you know, God understands this.
We are not perfect, and He loves us anyway, but He still wants us to try.
You want God’s grace?
Put your character on the line, examine it and make changes.
I see some things that I need to focus on  . . .

Have a blessed day!
