sadness transformed

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
- Philippians 3:20-21

This is a sad weekend for me.
You see, 33 years ago today, my daddy died.
I was 15 years old.
Growing up without my daddy was so hard, I did not have a relationship with God at the time.
I was so lost.
Now I know that my daddy is in Heaven with the Father and he has been made glorious through Jesus.
Not only is he not sick anymore, but I get to see him again.
So my sadness, like my spirit, is transformed in the love and light that is Jesus Christ our Lord.
I miss my daddy, I wish he would have been here to see me grow.
But I know that I will see him again, but for now, he is fishing in the lakes of Heaven with Jesus!

Have a blessed day!
