Planners

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.

– Proverbs 19:21

I am a planner.

I need to have everything in neat little lists and boxes and when things get off track, I tend to freak out a little. (ok, a lot!)

Notice that we are called to plan things out, but we are also called to be watchful of how God uses those plans.

We can have the best laid plans in the world, but ultimately God is in charge.

This should challenge us to think carefully and thoroughly about how we do things, while we leave the results of those plans to our Heavenly Father who loves us and works all things according to His will.

So that whole “let go and let God” thing?  Yeah, it is real.
