For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with
our weaknesses, but we have One who has been tempted in every way, just as we
are—yet He did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with
confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time
of need.
– Hebrews 4:15-16
Another song (can you believe that?) . . .
“Everyone needs compassion, love that’s never failing, let mercy
fall on me,
Everyone needs forgiveness, the kindness of a Savior, the Hope
of nations.
Savior, He can move the mountains,
My God is mighty to save, He is mighty to save
Forever author of salvation, He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave”
God can have compassion upon us because He experienced what we
have felt—in every way.
God became a participant in suffering.
To think that God doesn’t understand what we are facing is so
wrong!
He knows!
He knows!
He is with us every single step of the way!
God came to earth to experience our weakness so we can live in
the confidence that He knows us fully.
He is mighty to save.
Have a blessed day!
