I love the Newsboys almost as much as I love MercyMe.

Shine may have been one of the first songs labeled as “Christian rock” that I heard, and I still like it.

Dull as dirt,

Out of the shaker and onto the plate,

Some of the lyrics are pretty silly if you read them but I like silly sometimes.

And when you read “When you let it Shine/You will inspire the kind of entire turn around/”

That is the kind of shine I am talking about, and I sure hope that there is a light in me that shines so bright that it does inspire people.

Let’s not plan to barbeque any hamsters though, that’s kind of gross.
