OH this is a touchy subject.
It seems that society can get pretty butt-hurt when they are judged, but that doesn’t stop them from judging others.
And when you talk about people getting what they deserve, are you talking about your opinion of what the deserve, or are you taking the judgement reserved for Christ into your own hands?
What is that old saying, a tit for a tat?
In case you have not heard that saying, “tit for tat is giving back as much as you got, especially in retaliation for something harmful. If you conk your sister in the head and she conks you right back, that's tit for tat. And stop it.
Well, firstly, the Bible teaches us that WE don’t get to be the judges.
The things that we think are good and deserve rich rewards are not necessarily good.
And the same for bad things, what we perceive as bad, isn’t always bad in the eyes of God.
Stop judging people for their outward appearance.
Stop thinking that we have the right to decide if someone else should receive a reward or a punishment.
Only God has that right.
