For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News.

As children we hope that Christmas and birthday gifts will be the best toys and games.
As adults we hope that we have success in our jobs and our relationships.
But where are we placing that hope?
In a mythical being like Santa?
Where we should be placing our hope is in Jesus because He is hope.
Because He died for us, we have light, we have love, and we have hope.
When you place your expectations in the good that Jesus does you won’t be disappointed.
