I used to attend a church where the words “Peace be with you (and also with you)” were exchanged with every person that you greeted.

It is a fond memory for me, and a greeting that to my understanding is still practiced in some churches today.

Peace be with you.

My favorite part of the day is when I can be in the quiet, just enjoying the peace of Christ.
