After
these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the
first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me,
said, "Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these
things."
- Revelation 4:1
I
admit that I am a bit of a nerd, I do like Shakespeare.
The
“Ides of March” is a real day, made famous in literature by Shakespeare in his
play about Julius Caesar’s death in 44 B.C.
In
the play, Caesar is warned about his death coming on the Ides of March by a
soothsayer (fortuneteller, psychic, prophet, seer).
There
are many prophecies in the Bible, some are really wonderful and some not so
much.
I
like this prophecy in the book of Revelation, I picture Jesus taking my hand
and saying “Come”.
What
happens when we get to Heaven?
Well,
none of us really know, but I believe that it will be glorious, and we will
finally see His wonderful face.
I
suspect however, that it won’t happen on the ides of March.
Have
a blessed day.
