By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.

Everyone is on a spiritual journey.

The thing is, no one knows where people are in their journey unless we ask.

Even asking can be a bit intimidating, because we might get pushed away.

That doesn’t mean that people don’t want to talk about their journey, it might mean that they really don’t know themselves.

Most people don’t share their faith openly because they are afraid, uncertain or just don’t know how to approach people, especially people they don’t know.

What if it is as easy as asking a question like “how are you” and then really listening to the answer?

God goes before us on this journey, we are not alone. 

Seek out people on their journey, maybe it is someone that needs you to help them see the path.

Maybe it is someone that can help you on your path.

Or maybe it is someone to walk beside you as you are on this journey together.  

But you will never know where someone is on their journey until you ask.
