He
saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His
mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy
Spirit.

Most
of us work hard to earn the things we want.
The
house we live in, the car we drive, the clothes we wear, most of us have the
accomplishments and outward signs of success because we have worked hard to get
there.
Did
you know that it doesn’t work that way with God?
He
loves us from the moment we are conceived (probably before!), we do not have to
earn it.
