waiting for the sun

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

One of the things that I am learning through my daily devotional readings is that being consistent with our prayer is key.

I was prayer journaling for a long time last year, but for some reason I stopped.

And I noticed something when I started journaling again, I noticed that things didn’t seem so impossible.

When prayers are answered, it is easier to rejoice and give thanks.

When prayers are not answered we tend to fall away from rejoicing and giving thanks.

God wants us to praise Him in the storm. 

You know that storms all come to an end, so why not continually praise Him while you are waiting for the sunshine?
