time change

But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

- 2 Peter 8 (NKJV)

“Fall back” was this weekend, hopefully everyone remembered to set clocks back an hour and get that extra hour of sleep.
Every spring and fall when it’s time to change the clocks, the media makes a big deal about whether we should get rid of the time change altogether.

Humans have a specific concept of time, but God does not.

It is a good thing, too, because we as humans tend to put a time frame on everything, including our spiritual path.

God cares for people so much that He is willing to wait for them to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

We may become impatient with the process, but God is not like us (which is another good thing!).

This should give us hope because we are not as far along in our faith as we would like to believe, but God is patient with us.

The nature of God’s patience should humble all of us, we all need of God’s guidance in our journey of faith.
