solitude

After He had dismissed them, He went up on a mountainside by Himself to pray.

- Matthew 14:23a

When your children are screaming like banshees and your boss is blowing up your phone and your spouse wants dinner right now, don’t you wish you could get just get away for a moment alone?

It’s ok to say yes, because Jesus did that too.

Jesus wanted to be alone to pray, to focus on Himself and His Father.

We can do that too, we can take any amount of time we need to just be with God.

Imagine how restored you would feel after just 10 minutes alone with God.

Make it a point to make time with Him a priority.

Jesus did.
