there is joy after pain

Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.

– Romans 8:17

Unfortunately, there are things that we will only understand through suffering.

We don’t like suffering; we avoid it at all costs.

But strength comes to those who can see through their pain to Christ, for they understand that they are being prepared for something greater.

God’s children are guaranteed an inheritance, and any suffering now is a prelude for a glorious future either in this life or the next.

We are the sons and daughters of a King!
