i messed up

When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”
- John 8:7
I am not perfect, I make mistakes, I have seriously messed up.
Do you know how hard it is for some people to admit that they have messed up, and how easy it is to shame others for their mistakes!
Jesus educated the villagers here that not one of them was in a position to accuse this woman of anything.
I wonder, how often do we point out the flaws in others, while we ourselves are flawed?
Something to ponder for the weekend – maybe instead of acknowledging the defects of someone else, we should look at our own actions and what we can do to improve them.

Have a blessed day!
