OH MY.
Not that I would ever admit this, but I have a pretty bad temper
. . .
Yes, me.
These words of advice will serve those who practice them well –
unfortunately it is rare that I am one of those.
Our tendencies are to listen with the intent of speaking our
mind as quickly as possible, but the art of listening can bridge the gap of
many misunderstandings.
Seek first to understand, then to be understood, and you will do
well in the affairs of life.
Oh – and note to self: keep that temper in check.
