Practice

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from Me, or seen in Me — put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

And feed them on your dreams, the one they pick's the one you'll know by.

Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you would cry,

So just look at them and sigh and know they love you.

We teach our children everything we can about life.

Etiquette, manners, behavior and yes, even our faith.

As we seek to pass on the faith to our children, our friends, our younger spiritual "children", we should think about the apostle Paul and his example.

He taught the truth; passed on the truth that had been revealed and passed on to him; he displayed that truth in his life.

Paul then called on the people he was mentoring to put this truth into practice in their daily lives.

This would enable them to fully experience the presence of God in their lives and find the peace that God so longs to give them.

And it can work that way for us too.
