Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of
your evil behavior. But now He has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body
through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from
accusation — if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not
move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard
and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I,
Paul, have become a servant.

Colossians 1:21-23
Thanks be to God for His mercy!
God has reconciled us to Himself even when our minds were
antagonistic against Him.
The hope of the gospel is not in us, but in Him.
God rescued us, is rescuing us, and will continue to rescue us!
Those who continue in this faith toward God will be established
and firm, for they know that the power of the cross is eternal, even when we
are inconsistent.
Have a blessed day!
Amen. What awesome grace. It speaks to the fact that grace alone is responsible for our salvation. It speaks to the fact that no matter my past evil behavior that His grace is available to me today. It speaks to the fact that Christ's atoning work on the cross has paid the debt of sin, once and for all. Because of His sacrifice I am now viewed without blemish and free of the debt of sin. Oh what a Savior we have in Christ Jesus. Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus, Thank you Jesus!!!
