But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing
for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may
rejoice in you.

The definition of refuge is a condition of being safe or sheltered
from pursuit, danger, or trouble, something providing shelter.
When I was little, I used to hide in my closet when I would get
scared.
My closet now is so crazy full that I could not possibly hide
there.
It’s a good thing that now I know that my real refuge lies in God.
Sometimes, I just need a big hug, and God, as my refuge gives me
that hug.
I am safe in His arms, so I will sing for joy, and I will rejoice.
