Live as if . . .

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved — and that by God.

We have talked about this before  - always do the right thing, even when no one is looking.
“Do you kiss your momma with that mouth?”
It sounds funny, but seriously – I used to ask my kids “would you say that in front of your Grandma or in church?” and when they said no, I would ask them why it is ok to say it at all.
We need to live like we are standing next to Jesus, every second of every day (because we ARE!).
Live as if we've been redeemed, show our love and character in our daily lives, and especially with the things that come out of our mouths.
We need to share His word, when we share with those who know His word, we are encouraging and lifting one another.
When we share with those who have never heard of the grace of God, we are tending His sheep.
When we are face to face with the enemy, do not be deterred or divided.
Instead, know that when we stand firm on His word we will be saved.

Have a blessed day.
